Digital Merchandiser- Hybrid- Journeys

Job Summary

Online Merchandising is a key role in the online business. The position is responsible for how product is presented on the website to end consumers. How a product is described on the site, its keywords, and overall maintenance of a product's characteristics can be the determining factor as to whether a customer chooses to by from our website or a competitor's site.

Job Responsibilities

  • Checking new style set up in the content management system for Journeys US site.
  • Review e-mail and home page weekly prior to deployment
  • Ability to work with buying and merchandising teams of Journeys Group to ensure accuracy of

all owned brand and style numbers.

  • Manage receiving communication on rebuy and new site additions.
  • Participate in cross collaboration meetings for product journey.
  • Create and contribute to weekly/monthly reporting of site changes
  • Familiarizes self with all marketing, team, special events, trends, and new logos.
  • Review products on the website to confirm appropriate naming, descriptions, and product

placement.

  • Analyze product performance using KPI software.
  • Review and update the New Arrivals and Best Sellers monthly on all assigned platforms.
  • Conduct site audits on Trend collections and brands.
  • Assist Sr. Merchandising Mgr. on trend research for curating new collections.
  • Create and distribute Launch product inventory report and timeline sell through.
  • Create and distribute Exclusive product inventory report and timeline sell through.

Job Requirements

  • Undergrad Degree preferred
  • Creative writing experience desired
  • 2-3 years of experience in Merchandising preferred
  • Proven ability to perform independently with minimal supervision
  • Ability to operate a computer and maneuver relevant software programs
  • Proficient in MS Office Suite
  • Strong interpersonal skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Detail oriented
  • Excellent organizational skills and ability to prioritize workload
  • Ability to meet deadlines and respond to critical requests appropriately
