Art Director- Journeys

Job Summary

We're on the hunt for an Art Director with killer instincts and an eye for the unexpected. You'll lead the charge on our seasonal campaigns-bringing them to life across print, digital, and everything in between-with a strong sense of style and an even stronger sense of brand. From lookbooks to signage to big-picture storytelling, you'll make sure every touchpoint is a vibe.

This role isn't just about taste (though you've got that in spades)-it's about leadership. You'll guide and grow a small but mighty team of two, keep creative standards sky-high, and make sure our brand feels consistent, cohesive, and creatively fresh across all channels.

What You'll Own:

  • Dream up and direct seasonal campaign creative that's conceptually bold and visually magnetic
  • Lead print design from branding to OOH to internal creative that speaks to our customers and employees
  • Keep our visual identity consistent across every platform (store, digital, social, you name it)
  • Partner with social, branding, ecomm, and cross-functional teammates to bring campaigns to life
  • Manage two talented designers, mentoring with care and championing their growth
  • Run creative reviews like a pro-clear, collaborative, and always with high standards
  • Stay tapped into trends and cultural shifts to keep our creative work sharp and relevant

Who You Are:

  • 6+ years in brand or agency design, with at least 2 years leading creative or managing designers
  • Portfolio that proves your superpowers: big ideas, polished execution, multi-channel magic
  • Print-savvy with a love for layout, typography, and all the little details
  • Strong communicator with the confidence to lead and the openness to collaborate
  • Organized, efficient, and cool under pressure (especially around seasonal crunch time)
  • Invested in building a brand-not just designing for one

Bonus Points For:

  • Fashion, beauty, or lifestyle brand experience
  • Motion chops or a knack for video direction
  • A strong POV on seasonal color stories, type pairings, and campaign world-building
