How You Will Make an Impact
Data Collection, Analysis and Reporting
- Gathers and analyzes talent-related data from diverse sources to identify trends, patterns, and insights
- Utilizes statistical methods to identify trends, patterns, and correlations within talent-related data
- Prepares comprehensive reports and dashboards to present insights and recommendations to HR and business leaders, aiding in informed talent management strategies
Talent Analytics
- Partners closely with Genesco business leaders to understand their needs, objectives, and data challenges with a solutions-oriented and analytical mindset
- Manages the data strategy, analytics, and reporting for various talent management processes, including goal setting, leadership pipeline and succession planning, promotions, 360 feedback, exit survey data, engagement survey data, and performance rating data
- Prepares presentations and roadmaps that convey the key findings
- Analyzes the impact of various talent programs and diversity initiatives with regard to performance, promotion, and retention
- Utilizes data and talent metrics, coupled with predictive analytics to forecast potential talent needs, turnover, and other key talent metrics
- Analyzes talent pipeline data to identify gaps and recommend strategies to mitigate talent shortages, while providing insight to the Genesco talent strategy
Talent Management Strategy and Continuous Improvement
- Collaborates closely with HR and business leaders to refine talent management strategies based on data-driven insights
- Stays up to date on the latest trends and best practices in talent management and HR analytics to ensure innovative and effective approaches
- Recommends process improvements and innovative solutions to enhance talent management practices
- Provides analysis of talent initiatives, prioritizing DEI outcomes, and provides actionable recommendations for continuous improvement
Experience and Skills You'll Need to Have
- Bachelor's degree in Business Analytics, Data Science, Information Technology, Statistics, or Human Resources with 3-5 years experience
- Excellent analytical skills. Ability to organize and analyze large datasets, detect errors, and interpret findings - connecting the dots to help interpret the data
- Excellent technical skills - proficient in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
- Strong project management skills - proven track record driving key projects, while focusing on the ability to maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with stakeholders
- Comfortable communicating technical insights to non-technical audiences while presenting findings, recommendations, and insights with Genesco leadership
- Superb attention to detail. Highly organized, with excellent communication and follow-through
- Enjoys collaborating with a team to accomplish the talent objectives of the broader Talent Management team
