The Ideal Candidate

The Lead Integration Engineer is responsible for researching, developing, implementing, and supporting new technology and products to support internal and external customer needs. They work closely with systems stakeholders and project personnel to ensure that solutions meet quality standards and are delivered on time and within budget. Additional responsibilities may include server management, testing, and support of systems within one's assigned area of responsibilities. Adaptability and strong analytical thinking skills are critical success criteria for this role.

Experience and Skills You'll Need to Have

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science/Information Technology.
  • 10+ years of experience in software development, with a proven track record of technical leadership and delivering complex projects in the retail industry.
  • Deep understanding of retail technology, including ecommerce platforms, point-of-sale systems, inventory management, and customer data analytics.
  • Proficiency in Python and SQL, with an advanced understanding of software design and architecture in a retail context.
  • Strong data engineering skills and knowledge of agile software development methodologies and best practices.
  • Exceptional problem-solving and troubleshooting skills, with the ability to think creatively and strategically in a fast-paced retail environment.
  • Outstanding communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
