The Commercialization Associate works in the daily activities of working with internal partners and factories to commercialize all footwear to established timelines and ensuring product is production ready.

How You Will Make an Impact

  • Update shipment reports with ship details of all commercialization samples. Track shipments to ensure on time delivery and maintain timelines.
  • Ensure effective communication with factories and vendors, guaranteeing timely sample delivers, updating our tracker with weekly communication report information, and promptly addressing any discrepancies.
  • Unpack & setup all commercialization samples for review.
  • Assist with the fitting of men's and women's footwear on fit models.
  • Tag confirmation samples with callouts needed improvement before distributing the CFM's to the vendor, DC and internal storage racks.
  • Coordinate box sizes or all new patterns based on model and extreme fit samples send to the office.
  • Maintain records of box sizes per pattern.
  • Communicate corrections and approvals to the appropriate factory team using email & photographs when instructed by Comm Mgr.
  • Organize and maintain the confirmation & seasonal fit library and coordinate storage of fit samples. Seasonal purge of CFM's and coordinate off-site fit reference storage and purge after product has reached the customers for set amount of time.
  • Track and update commercialization tracker with the updates from weekly comm reports by each vendor. (Follow up with vendors on missing or inaccurate information.)
  • Track wear testing and update comments on tracker when wear tests are completed.
  • Responsible for all departmental shipping including returning products to vendors, shipments to the DC, etc.
  • Ordering of production shoes from the DC as needed by team.
  • Seasonally make confirmation sample available for color and photography teams.
  • Other duties for the sourcing team as assigned.


Experience and Skills You'll Need to Have

  • High School diploma or equivalent is required, college degree is a plus.
  • 2+ years of office/business experience.
  • Ability to work in multicultural, fast paced environment with competing priorities.
  • Exceptionally strong problem solving and analytical skills.
  • Ability to travel to footwear factories
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Intermediate computer skills including Excel, Word, and email with aptitude to learn additional programs and other business skills.
  • Show desire to learn and excel.
  • Proficient in basic photo editing.
  • Strong work ethic. - Committed to excellence in their work.
  • Self-motivated. - Ability to work with minimal supervision.
  • Capable of lifting up to 40 lbs.
